“We were asked to pay 95 CAD at the airport. These charges were not mentioned while booking. For the 95 CAD, since we were tourists from the USA and we didn’t have CAD, we offered USDs to the pilot and she asked us for $85 which was way off the conversion rate. This was paid in cash and we were not offered receipts for that. Is this a standard process?”

“We had booked a US side Helicopter tour of Niagra fall on Wednesday 21st September. Money $600 was debited to our account on 19th . Confirmed our trip one day in advance with the tour operator but on the day of tour the guide said there is no helicopter tour on Tuesday & Wednesday. Hence we had to cancel our tour with a heavy heart Now we have been told that our money will be returned soon . We don’t understand if there is no Helicopter tour on Tuesday & Wednesday why did they take the booking & debited the amount . We hope we get back our money.”

“the ride was great - beautiful day. There is no narration, so they should not list that in the description. It takes most of the flight to get near the falls- i suppose we went over vineyards, but of course no narration- they said it was busy in the sky, so that is why he didn't talk to us.”

“We had a great experience at Niagara Falls although we didn’t get a helicopter ride due to bad weather. However, I was wondering the price is too expensive. The reason why I think so is I got a refund for cancelling the helicopter ride but the refund was less than I expected. The tour agency claimed they got the helicopter in discounted price, but after I tried to calculate the cost, if my calculation is correct, less than 50% of the tour price accounts for the total of fees of the 3 venues. Of course they gave us hotel transfer and told us some knowledge about falls, but I doubt…”
